Diane Wolff
President, The Blue Sage Group
Diane
Wolff is the Founder and President of The Blue Sage Group.
Wolff is a senior financial executive with a proven track
record of increasing profitability in Fortune 1000 companies
by creating the tools and processes that allow senior
management to quickly gage the financial impact of operational
initiatives and actions. In her career, Wolff has created
infrastructures for small ventures that have enabled them to
create and handle explosive growth and she has restructured
mature companies to allow them to operate efficiently as
streamlined, low cost operations. In 2002 in the wake of the
government’s implementation of The Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002,
Wolff began to find herself brought into a new realm – a
situation where companies were struggling to comply with a
newly defined set of compliance rules, many times with runaway
budgets. She has applied her financial and business acumen to
developing a new set of tools by which companies can
efficiently and effectively comply, using a Microsoft Windows
platform.
In her
previous position as Vice President of Finance for Genuity, a
leading provider of managed Internet services, Wolff improved
gross margins by 100% in a three year period while revenues
grew to $750 Million. During that period Wolff worked with
cross-functional teams to transform separate and unique
start-up operations with antiquated systems into a unified
organization with streamlined and effective processes and
controls.
Prior to
that Wolff served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of
Operations of ODI, an international management consulting
firm and leader of the TQM movement. In that role Wolff
streamlined systems and processes that resulted in a more
profitable organization.
Wolff
graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emerson College with a degree
in Business Communications, taken graduate courses at Harvard
Extension, and continues taking educational courses in
subjects that include Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance and corporate
governance. Wolff is a member of multiple professional
organizations including FEI, IIA, IIAC and FENG.
